The wait is finally over and we are proud to present ‘Echo Kinetix’, the new EP from Bansuri flute-box aficionado; Xtra Soula.

Echo Kinetix demonstrates all the musical qualities we have come to expect from the ground-breaking musician/producer. For this experimental and unique project, Xtra Soula seamlessly combines traditional Indian flute playing with a variety of different samples to taker listeners on a sonic journey.

This project takes influence from a diverse set of genres, some including hip-hop grooves and jungle riddims. However, crunchy percussion and haunting melodies are consistent across the project. He successfully builds on this strong foundation throughout the EP by including detuned flute harmonies, effects, drones, beatboxing and basslines, as well as additional synth layers to give each track its own distinct edge.
